Miss Peaches is an American Pit bull that was rescued from a hoarding situation in Atlanta, Georgia. She had somewhere around six litters and was not cared for properly.
She was adopted by Dave Portnoy February 14, 2024 at the age of 4. She has been the figurehead of adopting senior dogs and the adopt don’t shop movement. She also represents a positive, loving, special side of Pit bulls, helping dismiss some of the negative attitudes that people have about American Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes.
The Famous Miss Peaches has over a million followers on instagram and has raised almost a million dollars (a number that keeps growing) for various animal rescues, including the group that originally rescued her.
Life line animal project has been credited for bring Dave to Miss Peaches together.
